About Me

Hello, I'm Nicole! I'm a 25 year old Digital Nomad, PA Voter, and the Founder of Nomadic Activist. Over the past two years, I've been traveling the world full-time while working remotely, spending most of the year residing abroad.

Nomadic Activist

Positioned at the intersection of remote work, travel, and activism, I created Nomadic Activist to bridge the gap between of progressive activism and digital nomadism. Our mission is to empower individuals (particularly nomads, remote workers, and expats) to drive positive change no matter where they roam, connecting them with resources, opportunities, and organizations making a difference (including Democrats Abroad!).

From Canada to Switzerland, I've had the unique opportunity to connect with various Democrats Abroad chapters around the world as a digital nomad, which is why I'm so excited to announce my candidacy for Delegate at the Democratic National Convention!

Uplifting DA's Mission

Throughout my journey, I've leveraged social media to share my nomadic travels, mobilize others to get involved, and shed light on transnational issues intersecting democratic activism, progressive policies, and global issues.

Highlighting Voters Abroad

One issue I'm deeply passionate about is highlighting the importance of voters abroad in US elections. Not only am I promoting this issue on the Social Media team for VoteFromAbroad.org, but I've also used my own platform to educate and raise awareness about voting abroad. Not to mention getting interviewed by Traveling With Kristen recently about the topic of US Expat Voters on her Badass Digital Nomads Podcast (Episode dropping late May!)

Coordinate with a team of moderators to build volunteer engagement and organize opportunities within the community Slack channel of 1,000+ dedicated volunteers nationwide. Leader of the Organizing & Activism Moderator Group, spearheading a new social media organizing / content creation program within the VSA Community.

Canvassed several neighborhoods in Greenville, NC and talked to hundreds of North Carolina voters about the upcoming elections to promote voter turnout.

Served as an ambassador of NextGen America's Social Media Organizing Program. Facilitated virtual meetings for volunteers to leverage social media as an organizing tool to empower and mobilize young people to vote..

Vote Nicole for DA Delegate

Back in 2020, I got the internship of my dreams: Interning at the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee. However, the dream never came to fruition, as it was cancelled due to COVID-19. This is my chance to not only fulfill my dream, but be apart of history.

It's time we have more young people represented in our party and I will work tirelessly to uplift the work and mission of Democrats Abroad at the DNC.
